I’m Speaking at Think Visibility 3 – March 2009

11th January 2010 · Paddy · No Comments »

I’m very excited (and a little nervous!) to be speaking at the next Think Visibility conference in March in Leeds.  I went to Think Visibility 2 in September and came away thinking it would be a nice event to speak at next time.  Fortunately Dom Hodgson liked my application to be a speaker and has given me the chance of presenting at my first conference.

I’m nervous right now as I know some of the brightest SEOs in the country will be in the audience but my excitement out-weighs my nerves so I’m really looking forward to it.  I’m also talking alongside some very well known people from the industry but hopefully I can deliver a good presentation.

As a true SEO geek I’ll be talking about every SEOs favourite (or most hated) subject – Link Building.  Although I wanted to make things a little different a give people something that isn’t talked about much.  After some feedback I’d previously heard after the SEOmoz Training Seminar, I realised that not many conferences tell you about how to get links – by this I mean you can find tons of content and talks about where to find the links you want.  But most don’t tell you what is required to actually go get them.  This is a massive step in the process so I’m hoping to cover some techniques to get the links you want.

If you are going to Think Visibility then feel free to say hi, also if there is anything in particular you’d like me to cover then leave a comment below and I’ll see what I can do or drop me a line on Twitter.
